Images of the ECCC (Khmer Rouge Tribunal)

Picture from an AFP (French Press Agency) article on the hearing. You can see the back of Ian's and my head in the middle right of the picture.

The exterior of the Phnom Penh Railway Station, where we met to take the bus to the tribunal, which is outside the main area of the city, though technically within its bounds because of tribunal rules (they extended the city limits to include the plot of land used).

An outdated Pepsi advertisement in the Phnom Penh Railway Station.

The line to go through security was long, and the sun was hot.

Cambodian monks waiting in line to get into the hearing.

The building with the orange shingles in the background is the detention facility for the five defendants.

The rounded building in the foreground is the courtroom.
